If you missed the July booking window (which wrapped up on April 24), don’t panic. The August 2026 quota is about to drop. In 2026, TTD has refined its “Phased Release” system to prevent the website from crashing, meaning different tickets are released on different days.

The July 2026 Status Report
If you are looking for tickets for July 2026, the official online quota was released between April 18–24 and is currently sold out.
-
The “Last Resort” for July: Keep an eye on the official TTD portal for “Lucky Dip” cancellations or “Current Booking” slots that occasionally reappear 48 hours before the date.
-
Offline Option: You can still try for SSD (Slotted Sarva Darshan) tokens in Tirupati city, but be prepared for 3:00 AM lines and 15-hour wait times during the July monsoon rush.
2026 Booking Survival Guide
Securing a ₹300 ticket on May 24 will be a digital battle. Here is how to win:
-
The “Pre-Fill” Trick: Log in to your TTD account on May 22 or 23. Go to the ‘Profile’ section and ensure your Aadhaar details and photos for all 6 family members are pre-saved. This saves you 2 minutes of typing—which is an eternity when tickets sell out in 15 minutes.
-
Payment Speed: Use UPI (PhonePe/Google Pay). It is significantly faster than entering 16-digit card numbers. A payment delay of 30 seconds often leads to a “Session Expired” error.
-
Browser Choice: In 2026, the TTDevasthanams App has been more stable than the desktop website. If you have a 5G connection, the app is often faster than home Wi-Fi.
Accommodation Secrets for August
Don’t book your darshan and then “think about” rooms later. On May 24 at 3:00 PM, the room quota opens.
-
Tirumala vs. Tirupati: If you want to experience the morning mist and the temple’s night energy, book Tirumala. If you want better food options and easier transport to Tiruchanoor, book Tirupati (Srinivasam or Vishnu Nivasam).
-
The “Donation” Shortcut: If rooms are full, remember that Srivani Trust donors (₹10,000+) get a separate, dedicated accommodation quota that often stays open longer.
Important Note for 2026 Travelers
TTD has strictly enforced the Original ID Rule this year. Whether you booked a Seva, a room, or a ₹300 ticket, you must carry the physical Aadhaar card used during booking. Digital copies or photos on your phone are being rejected at the Vaikuntam Queue Complex.
