Route 1: Online Advance Booking (3-Month Window)
This is the standard path if you’re planning your trip more than a few weeks out.
- Log in to the official TTD portal or the TTD mobile app.
- Go to Donations → Srivani Trust.
- Pay the ₹10,000 donation per person. This step comes first — you cannot book the darshan slot before the donation clears.
- Once the donation is confirmed, move to Privileged Bookings and pay the remaining ₹500 to lock in your darshan date and time slot.
- Download and print your ticket. A physical printout is safer than a phone screenshot at the entry gate — scanners at Vaikuntam Queue Complex-1 have rejected screenshots during high-traffic days.
Bookings are capped at four people per transaction — one lead applicant plus three family members.
Route 2: The Same-Day Online Trial
This is newer, and it’s the route most existing guides haven’t caught up on yet. TTD now releases a batch of same-day Srivani slots online every morning, rather than making devotees rely purely on physical counters for last-minute darshan.
- Around 800 tickets go live daily.
- The window opens at 9:00 AM and tends to close within minutes — treat it like a flash sale, not a booking form you can fill out at leisure.
- This is for the current day or the next day’s darshan, not advance planning.
If you’re already in Tirupati without an advance booking, this is worth trying before you head to any physical counter.
Route 3: Airport Counter (For Flight Passengers Only)
If you’re flying into Tirupati Airport, there’s a dedicated Srivani counter inside the terminal.
- Head to the TTD counter after landing.
- Show your boarding pass — this is mandatory, and the eligibility is checked against it, not just requested for show.
- Complete the ₹10,000 donation plus ₹500 ticket at the counter.
- Tickets here are issued through biometric verification, so carry the same ID (Aadhaar or passport) you used for any prior TTD bookings.
TTD releases roughly 200 tickets a day through this route. It’s a genuinely useful option for anyone landing in Tirupati without pre-booked darshan — no other channel offers same-day certainty quite like this one for air travelers.
A Word on the JEO Office (Offline Booking)
You’ll still find guides online recommending the JEO Office in Tirumala as a walk-up offline booking point, with claims that it opens around 8 AM. In practice, TTD has scaled this counter back significantly through 2026 as more categories moved online, and availability there is unpredictable at best. If you’re relying on it as a backup plan, don’t — treat the airport counter and the 9 AM same-day trial as your real offline-adjacent options instead.
Reporting and Entry
Once your ticket is booked through any of the three routes above:
- Reporting point: Vaikuntam Queue Complex-1 (Supadam entry).
- Reporting time: Most slots are scheduled for 4:30 PM, though this can shift during festival periods — always check the time printed on your specific ticket rather than assuming.
- Dress code: Men need a white dhoti or kurta-pyjama. Women need a saree, or a chudidar/salwar kameez with a dupatta. Jeans and leggings are turned away at this gate more strictly than at the general darshan lines.
- What to carry: Original ID proof (not a digital copy), your printed ticket, and the donation receipt as backup.
One donation gets you exactly one VIP Break Darshan ticket — there’s no bulk-booking loophole, and each family member traveling together needs their own separate ₹10,000 donation if they all want VIP access.
