How to Register for Kumbh Mela 2025?

The government of India and Uttar Pradesh have started online facilities to manage and administrate the complete gathering. To avail of the facilities at Kumbh Mela 2025, you have to first register on the Kumbh Mela official website:

  1. Visit the official website of Kumbh Mela 2025, i.e. https://kumbh.gov.in/
  2. On the home webpage, you have to click on the 2025 Kumbh Mela Registration Link.
  3. You will be redirected to the new page, where you have to enter the details in the form that appears on the screen.
  4. Next, enter all your personal and visit date details. Please enter the correct details otherwise it will be rejected.
  5. Then, you have to upload the required documents like a Photo, ID, and other essential documents.
  6. Now you have to submit your application form online.
  7. After submitting your application, you will get confirmation of successfully registering for Kumbh Mela 2025.

Procedure for Mahakumbh Mela 2025 E-Pass Online Booking

To organize the Mahakumbhh Mela in Prayagraj, the government has taken the essential steps and started the allocation of E-Pass. With the e-pass, devotees will not have to stand in long queues for entry. Also, it will be easy for the police to identify them through the e-pass. E-Pass can be booked online and offline both ways. Here is the simple online process;

  • Visit the Official Booking Portal => To get the E-Pass, you have to navigate to the official website of https://epass.kumbh25.in/. Then the E-Pass Booking management system will be open.
  • User Registration => On the homepage, you have to first initiate the Registration Process. You have to enter the user’s details.
  • Individual & Bulk Registration => After completing the user registration, you have to initiate the Individual registration or Bulk registration, as per requirements. If you only want to book your one E-pass go through individual, otherwise you can go through the Bulk Registration.
  • Request for E-Pass => After providing all the details regarding the individual, you have to request for E-Pass. The government released various colors pass for different individuals. Saffron color e-passes have been issued for Akharas and religious institutions, Yellow color for vendors, facilities like food courts and milk booths, Sky Blue for media, Blue for the life force, and Red for emergency facilities.
  • Issued E-Pass => After sending the appropriate request, your pass will be issued. You have to provide a valid document as per the Pass category.
  • Generate the E-pass => The last step includes only generating the e-Pass. You have to click on generate and your pass will be downloaded to your device. Now, you can go for the Kumbh Mela 2025.

Shahi Snan Dates in Prayagraj Kumbh Mela 2025

Kumbh Mela is also an occasion of a Grand Bath (Shahi Snan). It is a grand assembly of rituals, with the bathing ceremony reigning supreme as the most significant of them all. At the Triveni Sangam, millions of pilgrims come together to partake in this sacred practice. Here is some important information about the Date and Timing of Shahi Snan in Kumbh Mela 2025;

  • The Sahi Snana is believed auspicious to bathe in Brahma Muhurta.
  • It will be held from 5:25 am to 6:18 am for Amrit Snan during Maha Kumbh.
  • The other auspicious time to bathe is in Vijay Muhurta from 2:22 pm to 3:05 pm.
  • During Godhuli Muhurta, the auspicious time for the bath is from 5:55 pm to 6:22 pm.
  • Soap and shampoo are not used during Amrit Snan.
  • The other auspicious time to bathe is in Vijay Muhurta from 2:22 pm to 3:05 pm.

NOTE: After the bath, it is advisable to donate food, money, clothes, etc as per your wish. It is necessary to donate lamps during this time.
