Hutheesing Jain Temple is a prominent Jain shrine dedicated to the deity Dharmanatha. Dharmanatha was the fifteenth Jain Tirthankara of the present age (Avasarpini). According to Jain beliefs, he became a ‘Siddha’, a liberated soul that destroyed all of its Karma. The temple was built in 1848 by the Hutheesing family, a Jain family from the city of Ahmedabad. They also built and founded several temples and charitable institutions in Ahmedabad.

About the Hutheesing Jain Temple, Ahmedabad
Hutheesing Jain Temple is located outside the Delhi Darwaza in Ahmedabad City of Gujarat State. The temple manifests the Jain tradition and culture. The construction of the temple was originally planned and initiated by Huthisingh Kesarisingh, a wealthy merchant from Ahmedabad. But after the death of Huthisingh Kesarisingh at the age of 49, the construction was supervised and completed by his wife Harkunwar.
As per sources, the total cost to build this temple was approximately ₹10 lakh (equivalent to ₹85 crore or US$8.5 million in 2025). The temple is managed and run by a Hutheesing family trust based in Ahmedabad. Lakhs of Jain devotees visit this temple monthly to meditate and perform various rituals. Devotees and tourists both visit this temple. Two major festivals, Mahavir Janma & Kalyanak celebrated at the temple, and a significant crowd appears on these occasions at the Hutheesing Jain temple.
