Chhatarpur Mandir, officially known as Shri Aadya Katyayani Shakti Peetham, is a renowned Hindu Temple, located in Chhatarpur, on the southwestern outskirts of New Delhi. The temple is dedicated to the goddess Katyayani, an aspect of Mahadevi (the six forms of Maa Durga). The entire temple complex is spread over a wide area of 28 hectares (70 acres). Chhatarpur Mandir is the 2nd largest temple in Delhi, after the Akshardham Temple.

However, the temple is made of marble and has jali (perforated stone or latticed screen) work on all its facades. It can be classified as a Vesara style of architecture. This temple was built in 1974 by Baba Sant Nagpal Ji, who died in 1998. His samadhi shrine lies in the premises of the Shiv-Gauri Nageshwar Mandir within the temple complex. Shri Aadya Katyayani Shakti Peetham or Chhatarpur Mandir is one of the major attractions in South Delhi. Chhatarpur Mandir Langar Time

The Lungar of Chhatarpur Mandir is also famous across the Country. Hundreds of devotees appear to eat in this langar (Bhandara) as part of Katyayani Devi. However, Langar is generally available throughout the day, especially during Navratri and other festivals. This Lungar is only allocated during the Navratri Days for all. People take this with their beloved to get blessings from the Katyayani Maa.
