Chhatarpur Mandir, officially known as Shri Aadya Katyayani Shakti Peetham, is a renowned Hindu Temple, located in Chhatarpur, on the southwestern outskirts of New Delhi. The temple is dedicated to the goddess Katyayani, an aspect of Mahadevi (the six forms of Maa Durga). The entire temple complex is spread over a wide area of 28 hectares (70 acres). Chhatarpur Mandir is the 2nd largest temple in Delhi, after the Akshardham Temple.

However, the temple is made of marble and has jali (perforated stone or latticed screen) work on all its facades. It can be classified as a Vesara style of architecture. This temple was built in 1974 by Baba Sant Nagpal Ji, who died in 1998. His samadhi shrine lies in the premises of the Shiv-Gauri Nageshwar Mandir within the temple complex. About Chhatarpur Mandir, Delhi

Chhatarpur Mandir is one of the famous temples in Delhi. NOTE: Chhatarpur Mandir Complex opens between 06:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and darshan is also performed during these hours expect the afternoon. Between 12:00 PM to 04:00 PM. General Darshan will be closed, but the temple complex will open.
